Businessman Ion Tiriac is currently in the permitting stage for the mega real estate project he is preparing on the site of the Tiriac Auto dealerships in the Expozitiei area of Bucharest.
The first details were presented in 2019, indicating a complex that involves the construction of 27 building sections of up to 20 floors, which will include housing, offices, a mall, and a hotel, in the immediate vicinity of the Romexpo exhibition center in the Capital.
The ensemble is to be developed on a plot of land consisting of three lots with a cumulative area of 6.9 hectares belonging to the Auto Rom company, where Tiriac Auto has dealerships and auto services for Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, and Hyundai.
The Zonal Urban Plan presented by Ion Tiriac’s group did not forget the automotive component, for which a building with presentation spaces, car sales, and a service center with seven stations is reserved.
The urban planning indicators proposed for this project provide for a total floor area of over 200,000 sqm, and the investment was estimated at over EUR 100 million.
