DeSoi opens second restaurant in Bucharest

The new restaurant DeSoi opened on the ground floor of the Hotel Cișmigiu in Bucharest, in a 160 square meters space, where the Gambrinus brewery used to be. The location is owned by Hercesa Romania and marks an important stage in the evolution of the gastronomic brand founded by Bogdan Ivan, Damian Morcovescu and Cristian Ivana.

DeSoi combines restaurant, grocery and wineshop concepts, offering a dining experience centered on creative dishes and local ingredients. The new location allows the founders to expand the kitchen, described by co-owner Damian Morcovescu as “so far too small for the big ideas” of the team. The interior design retains the brand’s defining elements – the communal table, wine “library” and shelves of artisanal products – but the main focus will be on the brunch and dinner menus.

Founded almost three years ago, DeSoi started its story in 8 St. Stephen’s Square, quickly becoming a place appreciated for its relaxed atmosphere and authentic approach to urban gastronomy.
