Delegates from the Republic of Moldova participated in the first edition of the OIV SCOPE Forum, organized in Dijon, France, by the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV). The aim of the event was to define strategic priorities and international cooperation framework for the wine sector, strengthening the country’s role in global decision-making processes.
The Forum brought together over 150 delegates representing governments, intergovernmental organizations, the scientific community and the private sector. The Republic of Moldova was represented by Andrian Digolean, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, and Stefan Iamandi, Director of the National Office of Vine and Wine (ONVV). Among the key topics discussed at the Forum, the General Assembly of the OIV and the Executive Committee were the harmonization of international quality and labelling standards, the promotion of sustainability in production and developments in international trade in wine products. Andrian Digolean emphasized that the participation provides a platform for promoting national experience and is essential for aligning the local wine sector with international standards and strengthening the position of Moldovan wines on foreign markets.
