City Grill Group, one of the main operators on the Romanian HoReCa market, has launched a new version of the Out4Food loyalty app, a digital tool that already generates a significant part of the company’s business. The investment, which amounts to several hundred thousand euros, underlines the strategic focus on digitalization and personalization of the customer experience in order to increase the frequency of visits and the average value of the voucher in the network’s more than 30 restaurants.
The project, launched in May 2025, has been developed by the group’s marketing team in collaboration with specialized partners to strengthen the relationship with urban, digitally active customers. The Out4Food app integrates ordering, vouchers and personalized communication, differentiating itself through a smart scoring and segmentation mechanism that rewards user engagement. The 16-year-old loyalty program is considered a strategic pillar for the company.
The impact of the app is quantifiable: it has 380,000 active users and generates 26% of orders and 28% of group turnover. Company representatives also say the loyalty program as a whole contributes more than a third of total revenue. Out4Food users spend on average 20% more than other customers, and between 8% and 20% of them use personalized vouchers each month. The City Grill Group, with more than 1,200 employees, posted a turnover of €68m in 2024.
