Ramada Oradea marks 15 years of activity on the hotel market

The Ramada by Wyndham hotel in Oradea marked 15 years of activity on the local market, an event that underlines the role of the unit in the development of the hospitality sector in western Romania. Since its opening in 2010, the hotel has positioned itself as a landmark in regional tourism, helping to strengthen Oradea’s image as a European destination.

Rated 4-star superior, the hotel operates under the umbrella of the international Wyndham Hotels & Resorts group, the world’s largest hotel chain by number of properties. The unit has 121 rooms and offers integrated services, including the Riserva Wine Spa, described as the only one of its kind in Romania, and the Steak HUB restaurant, specializing in aged beef dishes. The anniversary event was attended by representatives of the local administration, including Mayor Florin Birta, the Rector of the University of Oradea, Constantin Bungău, and the Director of Visit Oradea, Alexandru Chira.

The hotel’s management, through Managing Partner Romeo Ionescu, emphasized the importance of the team and partners in the evolution of the business. “These 15 years have been an extraordinary journey. Together we have gone through challenges, transformations and successes that have strengthened our identity,” said Ionescu. He added that the long-term strategy aims to continue investing in quality, sustainability and experiences tailored to current market demands, reaffirming the commitment to the local community.
