Starting June 15, the low-cost airline Wizz Air will fly on the Constanta-London Luton route. Flights will be operated twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, and prices for the new destination start from 129 EUR per segment. Thus, the low-cost company will begin operating from its 9th airport in Romania, currently having flights from Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Craiova, Targu Mures, Arad, Sibiu, and Iasi.
Revenues for the first nine months of fiscal year 2015 (March-December 2014) increased by 22% compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year, to 992 million EUR, while EBITDAR profit grew by 38%, to 305 million EUR.
During the March-December 2014 period, the company recorded an 18% increase in the number of passengers transported, reaching 12.7 million.
