Strabag to Build Oregon Park in Pipera

The Austrian company Strabag will build the first two buildings of the Oregon Park office project, developed in Pipera by the Portland Trust group, a group controlled by British businessman Robert Neale. Built on the four-hectare land purchased last year from the Nusco group for approximately 20 million euros, opposite the Traffic Police headquarters in Pipera, the Oregon Park project will comprise three office buildings with a leasable area of approximately 70,000 square meters, with the investment expected to exceed 100 million euros.
“We have entered the home stretch with the Oregon Park project. We have appointed Strabag as the general contractor and will build, in a first phase, two buildings with a built area of 78,800 square meters and a leasable area of 45,000 square meters,” stated representatives of Portland Trust Romania.
Portland Trust has also developed on the local market the Opera Center building in the Eroilor area, the Bucharest Business Park projects in the Piata Presei area, and Floreasca Business Park, located near the Aurel Vlaicu metro station. The Strabag group, the most important player on the local construction market, built Promenada Mall and Sky Tower in the Barbu Vacarescu-Floreasca area and is currently working on the construction of the ParkLake Plaza mall in the Titan neighborhood.
