The winsedswiss group is opening its second academy in Romania in Brasov under the aegis of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne – ohma by winsedswiss. The first academy was opened in September 2020 in Oradea.
According to group representatives, the school will operate as an integral part of the hotel, and those teaching the courses are experts active in the hospitality industry.
Within this educational system, individuals over the age of 16 can enroll in programs dedicated to food and beverage services, culinary arts, accommodation and reception, and hotel administration.
Ray F. Iunius, Chief Executive Officer of Winsedswiss Education Group (WEG), did not wish to provide details regarding the value of the investment in the Brasov unit, emphasizing that Winsedswiss Education Group’s investment in Romania has exceeded several million euros.
The winsedswiss courses consist of three modules, and the fee for one module starts at EUR 1,700, while the price for a complete program ranges between EUR 6,300 and EUR 9,900, depending on the diploma the student opts for.
Currently, 24 students have enrolled at the Academy-Hotel in Oradea.
To date, in Romania, WEG has taken over the management of two hotels, namely in Poiana Brasov (ohma hotel – Casa Viorel) and in Oradea (ohma hotel – Cetate), and is preparing to manage three more hotels and a restaurant this year.
