The National Golf & Country Club (NGCC), an investment of more than EUR 60 million by businessman Metin Doğan, will be officially inaugurated on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Located 30 km from Bucharest, in the commune of Niculești, Dâmbovița County, the 75-hectare club comprises a professional golf course, a residential complex of 173 villas and 111 apartments, a luxury restaurant, an events hall, as well as areas dedicated to other sports and leisure activities, a swimming pool and playgrounds for children.
The Green by LOFT restaurant, The Gallery events room and swimming pool are operated by the LOFT Group.
The inauguration of the complex is marked by the organization of the first edition of “The Green Assembly”, an event that will take place every year at the beginning of summer, and which aims to attract not only guests from Romania, but also from abroad.
“The National Golf & Country Club is not just a club, but a statement of what Romania can become when it realizes its potential with confidence and sophistication. We have invested not just in infrastructure, but in an idea: that style, community and excellence can have a common ground, a landmark built to last,” added Metin Doğan, founder of National Golf & Country Club.
Conceived as a country club, the NGCC integrates a championship golf course, a residential development of villas and apartments, recreational facilities, restaurant and event spaces. Through an integrated approach, NGCC aims to build an active community and contribute to the development of golf in Romania through educational initiatives and dedicated competitions.
