Turkish-Romanian businessman Metin Doğan is investing over 60 million EUR in the development of Romania’s largest golf resort, National Golf & Country Club, with the first phase of the project scheduled for completion in 2023.

Located half an hour away from northern Bucharest, in the commune of Niculești, Dâmbovița county, National Golf & Country Club will include the largest golf course in Bucharest and its surroundings, a country club, and a 5-star residential complex, as well as exclusive facilities tailored to the lifestyle of golf enthusiasts and people seeking options to retreat from urban congestion, all on a surface of 72 hectares.
The resort is planned to be fully completed by 2025, when it will reach 170 villas in the residential complex, all with a view of the golf course and the 6 hectares of artificial lakes, and will also include an aparthotel, a luxury SPA, restaurants, event halls, swimming pools, sports fields, and playgrounds for children. All buildings within the resort will be equipped with solar panels.
