Alpha Group Investments Ltd, the investment division of Alpha Bank Group, plans to invest 90 million euros in the construction of a mall with a leasable area of approximately 70,000 square meters in Timisoara. This would be the third mall in the municipality of Timisoara and would create over 2,000 new jobs.
“We are delighted by the interest in Timisoara Centrum and the results of the leasing efforts so far. The largest retailers, whose response was positive, have demonstrated confidence in the concept, location, and general management of the project. Importantly, a considerable weight was held by requests from fashion retailers not yet present in the city. There is still availability for interested tenants, especially regional ones,” stated Ergun Ergen, the project manager.
The new mall will feature a 3,000-square-meter country club, including a spa, a wellness center, a fitness room, and a rooftop pool. In addition to these facilities, Timisoara Centrum will also feature restaurants, a multiplex cinema, an entertainment area, and an office building.
