This year, 56,394 spa treatment tickets will be offered in units of the National House of Public Pensions, according to a Government Decision adopted on March 2. To this number, spa treatment spots to be contracted with other interested economic operators will be added, within the limit of this year’s state social insurance budget, with the total number of spots to be established after the contracts are awarded, depending on the prices offered by the operators.
The spots in the treatment units of the National House of Public Pensions will be distributed over a maximum of 18 referral series, with a duration of 16 days, according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Justice.
The ticket price includes the cost of accommodation, meals, and 12 days of treatment. Individuals can benefit from only one treatment ticket per year.
The number of free spa treatment tickets granted based on special reparative laws is established by applying a maximum quota of 15% of the total number of tickets.
The tickets are distributed through territorial pension houses and are settled from the funds approved by the State Social Insurance Budget Law for 2017.
