Sovata Sees High Occupancy Rates

Sovata Sees High Occupancy Rates

From the beginning of the year through May, the occupancy rate in the hotels of the Ensana Health Spa Hotels Group was 46%, compared to 34.4% last year.

Andrei Rusu, General Manager of the Ensana Health Spa Hotels chain in Sovata: “The tourist season has begun in Sovata; for now, we see more tourists than last year, likely linked to the end of July when the 2019-2020 holiday vouchers expired. For July and August, requests are ongoing; we have already reached an occupancy rate of 70% for July and 60% for August, but we estimate they will rise to over 85% occupancy.”

Currently, there is a project on the Government’s table regarding the granting of non-reimbursable funding totaling 500 million euros for companies operating in balneo-tourism.
