METRO Cash & Carry Romania Launches “Romania: Travel Guide”

To encourage Romanian tourism and to support those planning a vacation in Romania this year, METRO Cash & Carry is launching for the first time “Romania: Travel Guide.”

The Romanian edition is available starting July 14, 2021, and the English edition is set to be published by the end of July, initially in digital format, highlighting over 200 tourist attractions divided by historical regions: Muntenia, Oltenia, Moldova, Bucovina, Dobrogea, Maramures, Crisana, Banat, and Transylvania. The guide is available for free on www.metro.ro.

The most interesting tourist attractions in the guide, whether well-known or lesser-known, are supported by photographs and concise descriptions, suitable for anyone wishing to form an impression of the regions they might visit, providing a reference point for planning future trips.

Additionally, “Romania: Travel Guide” includes over 250 accommodation and restaurant recommendations, among the most representative for each region, regardless of budget.

The project’s goal is to promote our country’s tourist attractions and make Romania’s tourism potential known, both domestically and internationally, encouraging every travel lover to discover, first and foremost, the beauties of Romania.
