General Mayor Nicușor Dan stated that he participated in the General Assembly of the Bucharest Tourism Promotion and Development Association (APDTB), where the Capital City Hall is a founding member, alongside several institutions, companies, and employer organizations.
The mayor added that the Bucharest City Hall (PMB) will seriously collaborate with all APDTB members to bring more tourists to the Capital and to increase this sector’s contribution to Bucharest’s economy. “Together with PMB’s partners, we voted on the new statute and the new leadership of the Association and discussed future projects, such as Bucharest’s marketing strategy, facilitating investments in Bucharest tourism, creating a network of tourist information centers, and stimulating niche tourism programs (cultural, sports, or educational tourism),” Nicușor Dan specified.
