Chef Samuel le Torriellec signs the menu at L’Atelier-l’art culinaire, the French gastronomy restaurant within Hotel Epoque. Of French origin and with experience in major kitchens in Paris and Lyon, Chef Sam has held a key role within the H.E.R.S. group for over 5 years, becoming one of the capital’s favorite maitres de cuisine.
In 2014, Hotel Epoque recorded a turnover of 2.04 million EUR, up 21% from the previous year, reporting an average occupancy rate of 70.7%, 7.5% above the average occupancy of hotels in Bucharest.
The reported figure is also due to the popularity of the gastronomic restaurant L’Atelier, reflected in a 14% revenue increase, and the accelerated development pace of the MICE segment, which recorded a revenue growth of 210%.
For this year, the unit estimates a 10% increase in turnover, in the context where it will maintain its revenues in the accommodation segment and expects a 20% growth in MICE revenues and 21% for the gastronomic restaurant L’Atelier.
