Dragos Anastasiu wants to acquire Happy Tour agency

The owner of the Eurolines group, Dragos Anastasiu, stated that he is interested in taking over the Happy Tour travel agency, owned by the Spanish investment fund GED, and is negotiating a potential acquisition.
Anastasiu specified that he wants, through the acquisition of a major agency like Happy Tour, specialized in corporate tourism, to enter strongly into the business tourism sector.
In 2016, the Happy Tour travel agency recorded sales of approximately EUR 50 million, an increase of 10% compared to 2015, and for this year estimates a growth of 10-15%, over EUR 55 million.
The agency is owned by the investment fund GED Capital and is part, along with Paravion, of the Happy Tour Group, with a network of 83 own and associated agencies and 94 points of sale, in 52 cities in Romania, Turkey, Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova.
The Eurolines Group recorded a turnover of EUR 125 million in 2016, 13% more than those recorded in the previous year.
