The most sought-after domestic destinations were the seaside resorts of Mamaia, Venus, Eforie Nord, Jupiter, and Saturn. Regarding spa resorts, the most requested were Baile Felix, Sovata, Geoagiu Bai, and Covasna, while among mountain destinations, the most popular were Predeal, Poiana Brasov, Busteni, or Sinaia.
“The novelty of the year for domestic vacations is the inclusion of flights in seaside holiday packages from Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi, and Oradea, from Bucharest to these cities and to Satu Mare and Suceava, as well as between these cities,” stated Lucia Nora Morariu, General Manager of Eximtur.
Among foreign destinations for summer 2017, Spain, Greece, Turkey, and Cyprus are preferred.
