launches program to support creative ideas and independent initiatives
Continental Hotels, the largest Romanian hotel chain, is launching the Call for Projects “Hotel as an intersection between people” – a project dedicated to cultural, social or educational initiatives that contribute to the development of local communities.
“We believe that good ideas sometimes just need a little support to take shape. With this project, we want to provide exactly that space – physical and symbolic – where someone can build, create, get started. We provide what we do best: hospitality, comfort, mobility. The rest is up to the vision and determination of each participant. We want to see brave, different and innovative projects – and to support them to go as far as possible”, says Radu Enache, Chairman and CEO of Continental Hotels.
The program is open to anyone who feels they have “something to say” – from creators and entrepreneurs to artists, freelancers or people who want to turn a dream or hobby into a concrete initiative. There are no thematic restrictions: ideas can be in areas such as education, technology, culture, social entrepreneurship, arts, sustainability, etc.
The project does not need to be linked to the hotel industry – Continental Hotels simply acts as a facilitator, providing the infrastructure and support an idea needs to get off the ground.
The winner of the selection will benefit from free accommodation for one year in any of the Continental Hotels network hotels in Romania, meals provided in the hotels’ restaurants, the possibility to work from multiple locations depending on the needs of the project, as well as national visibility and support in promoting the initiative.
You can register online by filling in the form available on the Continental Hotels website at this link link. Here applicants will upload a clear description of the project, its objectives, target audience, implementation plan and estimated impact. The deadline for project submission is June 16, 2025.
