Christian Tour: 90 Million EUR Sales in H1

In the first six months of this year, the travel agency Christian Tour recorded a turnover of 90 million EUR, an increase of 57% compared to the same period last year. The largest increase in sales volume in the first semester was recorded for foreign destinations. Thus, the turnover in this segment reached 84 million EUR, 55% more than in the same interval of 2018.
Cristian Pandel, the owner of Christian Tour, stated that stay-type vacations are the most chosen by Romanian tourists, and Greece and Antalya are the most requested destinations by them.
At the same time, the agency sold vacations in domestic destinations worth 6 million EUR in the January-June interval, the most sought-after places being: the seaside (mainly Mamaia), spa resorts, mountain resorts, and city breaks.
Regarding exotic destinations, among the most requested by Romanian tourists are Thailand, the Dominican Republic, Bali, South America, China, and India.
In 2018, Christian Tour recorded sales of 85 million EUR.
