The National Office of Vine and Wine of the Republic of Moldova organizes on 13-14 September 2025, in Bucharest (Kiseleff Boulevard), the fifth edition of the Moldovan Wine Festival, an event that will bring together about 50 wineries – both established producers and smaller wineries. The program runs daily from 12:00-22:00.
Romania is the main export market for Moldovan wines: more than 10 million liters were shipped in 2024, which is 20% of total bottled wine exports. Currently, more than 68 wineries from the Republic of Moldova are active on the Romanian market.
The festival offers wine, sparkling wine and mulled wine tastings, guided by sommeliers, along with traditional Moldovan gastronomy. Many of the labels presented are international multi-award winners, including gold medals.
“This year’s edition brings a record number of producers and new experiences, reflecting the diversity and excellence of Moldovan wine,” said Stefan Iamandi, director of the National Office of Vine and Wine.
Moldovan wines are exported to over 70 countries, accounting for 90% of total production, and have won over 8,000 medals in the last 9 years, more than half of them gold.
