The two hotels in Neptun belonging to the Micula brothers, seized by the Tax Authority, will be put up for sale again, with prices reduced by half compared to the initial ones, after ANAF failed to find buyers in previous attempts to sell the properties.
The auction is scheduled for June 5th.
The hotels, built during the communist era, were purchased by the Micula brothers in early 2000, along with other such properties, but were not subsequently modernized.
The new auction is the Tax Authority’s fourth attempt to sell the two hotels.
At the first auction, for Hotel Romanta, the Tax Authority asked for 9.6 million RON, for a Nightclub building also within the Romanta complex – 380,000 RON, parking – 87,600 RON, a 2,361 sqm restaurant – 2.2 million RON, and 14,300 sqm of urban land – 4.7 million RON. Now, the price for the Romanta complex is 4.8 million RON for the hotel, 190,000 RON for the nightclub, 43,800 RON for the parking, 1.1 million RON for the restaurant, and 2.38 million RON for the 14,300 sqm urban land.
And for Hotel Prahova, with an area of 1,630 sqm and 5 floors, the Tax Authority asked for 10.9 million RON, of which 1.9 million RON was the value related to the 4,678 sqm land. Now, the price for Hotel Prahova has dropped to 5.48 million RON.
