Ana Hotels Chain Reopens Hotel Europa in Eforie Nord

Hotel Europa in Eforie Nord, owned by the company Ana Hotels and controlled by businessman George Copos, has been renovated through an investment of over €14 million and is scheduled to reopen for tourists starting April 16.

The location’s renovation began in October of last year. The investment in modernizing the hotel exceeds €14 million, although it was initially estimated at €10 million. Out of the €14 million, €10 million was secured through a bank loan.

The investment included energy efficiency works for the building, for which European funds worth €440,000 were accessed. These works covered both the exterior—through thermal insulation, replacement of joinery and balconies, and the complete modernization of the building’s utility systems—and the interior, by redesigning the rooms and updating certain functionalities of the hotel’s medical SPA.

Ana Hotels Europa features 221 modernized rooms, all with a sea view, a restaurant with a capacity of 400 seats, a 30,000 sqm garden, a 900 sqm conference center that can host up to 600 guests, and the Ana Health Spa center. The spa is equipped with an outdoor freshwater pool, a saltwater pool, an indoor saltwater pool, and treatment rooms offering wellness, beauty, and relaxation therapies—most importantly, sapropelic mud therapies from Techirghiol. The Spa center has 36 functional treatment cabins.

Due to the introduction of a direct flight from Almaty to the Mihail Kogălniceanu International Airport in Constanța, Ana Hotels will also participate in a tourism fair in Kazakhstan.

The Ana Hotels group owns the InterContinental Athénée Palace Bucharest and Crowne Plaza Bucharest hotels in the capital, the Sport, Bradul, and Poiana hotels in Poiana Brașov, as well as Hotel Europa in Eforie Nord. Hotel services are complemented by those of Ana Teleferic, the operator of cable transport and ski facilities in Brașov and Poiana Brașov, and the owner of the Panoramic restaurant on Tâmpa Peak in the city of Brașov.
