Alma Complex Owner Expects Revenue to Double in 2023

The Alma Health & Spa Retreat tourist complex in the Lacu Sărat resort, Brăila county, which opened in the middle of last year, ended 2022 with revenues of over EUR 1.3 million.

Part of the revenue was also supported by the organization of private and corporate events within the tourist complex. Last year, Alma hosted approximately 30 events organized by large companies.

For this year, the entrepreneur aims to double the revenue, considering it will be the first full year of activity, with earnings supported by both the events area and the spa/balneotherapy segment. Additionally, 2023 has brought a large number of event requests, especially for the April-December period.

Furthermore, for this year, the entrepreneur plans to invest EUR 400,000 in photovoltaic panels to reduce electricity costs and achieve energy independence for the complex.

Alma Resort was opened in early June 2022 in the Lacu Sărat resort in Brăila county following an investment of EUR 20 million.

The tourist complex is developed by Eldomir Impex, a company controlled by Vasile Dogărescu, which operates in the fuel trade sector with a chain of gas stations under the name Eldomir.

The complex features 185 rooms and suites. In addition to accommodation facilities, Alma Resort has a spa and wellness center, a private sandy beach with 1,000 sunbeds, an aquapark, fresh and saltwater pools, six restaurants, as well as an event center with a capacity of 1,000 people.
