The businessman behind the Alpin Resort hotel complex in Poiana Brașov, Claudiu Aron, has submitted new documentation to the Environmental Protection Agency for the construction of a hotel in the Olimp resort. This follows a decision in November 2022, when environmental experts deemed the documents submitted at that time to be incomplete.
The investment objective proposes the construction of a complex in Olimp, located at 10 Olimp Street, with a height regime of B+GF+5F (Basement + Ground Floor + 5 Floors), functioning as a hotel, restaurant, swimming pool, multifunctional spaces, and SPA. The building will include 124 rooms and two apartments for accommodation. Additionally, the project proposes the demolition of an existing swimming pool with an area of 2,092.5 sqm, locker rooms covering 121.8 sqm, and a GF+1F+M administrative building with a built area of 63 sqm.
The spatial-functional organization of the levels composing the building will be as follows: the basement will house the lobby, elevators and stairwell, boiler room, staff locker rooms, staff offices, kitchen storage spaces, warehouses, a civil defense shelter, six staff rooms (each with its own bathroom), a SPA area with four treatment rooms, a lobby, and a reception area.
The ground floor will feature the reception, luggage room, lobby, elevators and stairwell, public restrooms, a multifunctional hall, restaurant, bar, bar storage, and kitchen. On floors I-IV, there will be 24 communicating rooms (arranged in pairs) on each level—comprising a hallway, bathroom, bedroom, and terrace—and two single rooms with their own bathroom and hallway.
The 5th floor will house 20 communicating rooms (arranged in pairs), comprising a hallway, bathroom, bedroom, and terrace, and two apartments consisting of a hallway, bathrooms, living room, kitchenette, bedrooms, and terraces. The sun terrace will have a capacity for 120 people and will provide access to the pool. The proposed swimming pool to be installed above the 5th floor of the hotel complex will have a capacity of 300 cubic meters and will be equipped with anti-limescale filters.
Alpin 2003 SRL was established on June 20, 2003, with its headquarters at 9 Poiana Doamnei Street, Poiana Brașov. The administrators and associates are Claudiu and Ileana Roxana Aron, each holding 50% of the share capital. The turnover reported in 2021 was 36,782,959 lei, with debts of 57,416,579 lei and 146 employees.
