The project, funded through the Romania-Ukraine Joint Operational Programme 2014-2020, was implemented by IDIS Viitorul, the “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați, and the Reni Territorial Community.

Green tourism promotion events aimed to increase awareness of the regions’ tourism potential and attract tourists from neighboring regions.
Following the project’s implementation, the following results were achieved:
- green tourism capacities were strengthened at the level of local service providers;
- new tourism products were created, promoting green tourism;
- awareness of the region’s tourism potential increased.
The project represented an important step in the development of green tourism in the Cahul-Reni-Galați region. Through the implementation of concrete measures, the project contributed to the promotion of a sustainable tourism model that respects the environment and capitalizes on local natural resources.
