Wizz Air Relaunches Wizz Tours Platform

Low-cost airline Wizz Air has relaunched the Wizz Tours platform, through which it sells flight tickets bundled with accommodation options. Thus, Romanians can purchase vacations with prices ranging between 150 and 25,000 EUR.
Romanians pay an average of 530 EUR for a city-break vacation, less than Hungarians – 540 EUR and Poles – 640 EUR, but they are somewhat more demanding and prefer 3-star hotels.
Janos Barits, managing director of Wizz Tours, stated that the preferred destinations for Romanians are Rome, Barcelona, Milan, Venice, and London for city-break vacations.
The Wizz Tours official also says that passengers will achieve savings of 10-15% when purchasing an integrated flight plus accommodation package, compared to making the reservations separately.
Most foreign tourists who choose the Wizz Tour service when booking a vacation in Romania are from Germany, Israel, Italy, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
Wizz Air offers daily flights between London and Burgas during the summer season, while from Constanta it flies twice a week to London, this being the only destination operated by the company from Mihail Kogalniceanu Airport.
