Recently, Wizz Air started operating more flights from Bucharest Băneasa Airport. So far, the airline has flights from Băneasa to Naples, Krakow, Abu Dhabi, Budapest and London Luton.

In addition to these routes which are already operational, Wizz Air will introduce two more flights. The first will be inaugurated on June 8 and will connect Bucharest Băneasa to Warsaw. The second flight will be operational from December 6 and will connect Bucharest Băneasa to Wroclaw. Tickets for these routes are already on sale.

In 2025, one of Wizz Air’s main goals was to create new connections between Romania and other famous destinations. For example, at the end of last month, Wizz Air announced that it will operate flights from Brasov-Ghimbav Airport to Naples.

From this summer, starting July 17, 2025, Romanians will be able to fly from Otopeni Airport directly to Gran Canaria. Also departing from Otopeni Airport, the flight to Frankfurt Hahn will be inaugurated on August 1.

Wizz Air has also announced the launch of one of the longest flights in its portfolio. Passengers will soon be able to fly directly to India, Mumbai to be precise. The flight will be operated exclusively from Budapest.
