Wizz Air Expands on the Romanian Market

The low-cost airline Wizz Air has announced that it is adding five aircraft to its Bucharest base, thus reaching 17 aircraft. At the same time, it announced increased capacity in Bacău, Cluj-Napoca, Iași, and Sibiu.

Additionally, Wizz Air announced the introduction of three new routes from Bucharest to Athens, Prague, and Larnaca, as well as increased frequencies on 30 existing routes, including key destinations such as London, Rome, Milan, Barcelona, Paris, Brussels-Charleroi, Dortmund, Eindhoven, Madrid, and Tel Aviv.

In total, Wizz Air will add 2.6 million additional seats to the Romanian market.
