Low-cost airline Wizz Air is allocating a new Airbus A321 aircraft to its Bucharest base and has announced the launch of two new routes to Memmingen in Germany and Castellon in Spain, as well as increasing frequencies on six of its existing routes, specifically Dortmund, London, Doncaster-Sheffield, Bologna, Treviso, and Eindhoven.
The new Airbus A321 aircraft will join the Wizz Air fleet in Bucharest in March 2019, representing an additional investment of $120 million and creating 42 new direct jobs with the airline locally.
