Wizz Air Changes Carry-on Baggage Rules

Starting in November, the low-cost airline Wizz Air will change the rules regarding carry-on baggage, accepting a size of up to 40x30x20cm, smaller than the one currently agreed upon.
Starting November 1st, all passengers will be entitled to bring one free carry-on bag on board, with dimensions up to 40 x 30 x 20 cm, which must be placed under the seat. Only passengers who have purchased the priority boarding service will be allowed to bring an additional trolley, with a maximum size of 55 x 40 x 23 cm.
In practice, however, almost no passenger positions their luggage under the seat, but rather in the overhead compartments, which are almost always insufficient for all luggage in terms of available space.
Simultaneously, Wizz Air is introducing a new type of checked baggage, with a maximum weight of 10 kg, in addition to the existing 20 kg and 32 kg options, with a fare starting from 7 EUR.
Wizz Air operates a fleet of 86 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft and provides approximately 500 routes from 28 bases, covering the connection between 144 destinations in 43 countries.
