Optim PM appointed to deliver the 4-star hotel, Hilton Garden Inn Otopeni
Optim PM has been appointed by Apex Alliance as Project Manager for the construction of the second Hilton Garden Inn in Romania. The 4-star hotel is well-located, in the immediate vicinity of the Departures Terminal of Henri Coandă International Airport, on a 3,340 sqm plot of land and will have a total built area of approximately 14,200 sqm, spread over 5 levels. Classified as a multifunctional building, the hotel will have a height regime of 1B + GF + 3F, with the number of levels varying in different areas of the building.
As Project Manager, Optim PM provides Construction Management, Design and Cost Management, Site Supervision, and Health & Safety Coordination services. Optim PM is also responsible for the procurement and installation of hotel furniture and accessories (FF&E) according to Hilton standards and design requirements.
The hotel will feature 218 rooms, 92 parking spaces, a restaurant, meeting and conference rooms, a fitness area, and an inner courtyard. Alongside the hotel, there will be a building wing dedicated to office spaces.
The hotel’s opening date is estimated for the second quarter of 2019.
Following the appointment by Apex Alliance, Optim Project Management successfully delivered the first Hilton Garden Inn hotel in January 2018. The new hotel in Bucharest’s Old Town offers 201 rooms, carefully integrated into a building classified as a “historical monument.” In the same Old Town area, Optim PM is responsible for the construction of two more hotels developed by Apex Alliance, namely the 5-star “Autograph” Hotel and the 3-star “Moxy” Hotel, both to be operated by Marriott and offering 214 and 117 rooms, respectively.
Outside the city center towards the north of Bucharest, on Dimitrie Pompeiu Boulevard, Optim PM is currently responsible for the delivery of Courtyard by Marriott, a 4-star hotel that will offer 259 rooms.
