winsedswiss opens the first Hotel Academy in Romania, under École hôtelière de Lausanne license

The Swiss educational group winsedswiss announces the opening of the first Hotel Academy in Romania, by developing the ohma by winsedswiss model in Oradea, a vocational hospitality education academy licensed by École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL).

The founding members of the alliance are Athénée Palace Hilton Bucharest, Caro Hotel Bucharest, Casa Doina Restaurant, City Grill, Hard Rock Cafe Bucharest, Intercontinental Hotel Bucharest, La Brasserie Bistro & Lounge, Le Manoir, Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest, Sheraton Bucharest Hotel, The Marmorosch Bucharest-Autograph Collection, as well as winsedswiss Romania, with other HoReCa industry representatives in the process of joining.

ohma Bucharest courses will begin on October 20, and students will be able to specialize in one of four professional paths: Hotel Administration, F&B Services, Culinary Art, and Rooms Division, with registrations already open.

In Romania, WEG has taken over the management of two hotels, namely in Poiana Brasov (ohma hotel – Casa Viorel) and in Oradea (ohma hotel – Cetate), and is preparing to manage three more hotels and a restaurant this year.

The group is led by Professor Ray F. Iunius, Director of Development at École hôtelière de Lausanne, and the professional and university diplomas obtained by winsedswiss students will be offered under license, under the aegis of École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), Business School Lausanne, and the Luxury School of Paris.

Winsedswiss collaborates directly with the Federation of the Hotel Industry in Romania (FIHR) and the Employers’ Organization of Hotels and Restaurants in Romania (HORA).
