Update: Grand Hotel Gardone in Italy, Acquired by the Pavăl Brothers, to Close for Renovation

Pavăl Holding and Apex Alliance have acquired the famous Grand Hotel Gardone, built in 1884 on the shores of Lake Garda in Italy.

Pavăl Holding and Apex Alliance purchased the Gardone hotel in Italy this spring and announced that €45 million will be invested in its renovation.

The hotel is only open for the remainder of this month. Reservations are no longer possible for November, as the establishment announced it is closing for renovation.

At the beginning of 2024, the hotel will undergo a renovation and restoration process that will place Grand Hotel Gardone on the map of premium 5-star hotels.

Investors Apex Alliance and Pavăl Holding are committed to preserving the hotel’s rich history, which has captivated visitors for decades with its timeless elegance, while also undertaking exciting new developments.

Following the completion of renovations in the spring of 2026, the hotel will become a premium 5-star property affiliated with a renowned international chain.

Grand Hotel Gardone, built in a classic style, became famous for its architecture and superb gardens, as well as its private access to the lakeshore and its 167 rooms with lake views.
