Turisfera – the project aiming to train youth in the tourism and HORECA industry

“Turisfera” aims to become a training and education center for youth in the tourism industry, HORECA activity fields, and specific travel agency activities.
Turisfera is a school-complex organized on the principles of arts and crafts schools where the emphasis is placed on forming predominantly practical but also theoretical skills, in order to acquire effective qualifications in jobs requested in tourism and auxiliary fields. The project’s founders, namely Inomar Cluster from Constanta
“In this complex, students will have housing, meals, and some money, provided they learn a trade and practice it well. The vision is towards a project of national and regional scope that gradually attracts students from all over Romania, and then Moldova and Bulgaria. It is desired that Turisfera be a network of centers and operators that adopt the same principles of operational excellence and service quality. Turisfera will educate and provide the private and public sector with an average of 1,000 vocational school graduates per promotion,” stated Stanica Enache, manager of the Inomar Cluster.
At this moment, the Inomar Cluster is looking for partners to join the project: experts in the field, organizations with similar experiences, or any person who believes they can lend a hand. They have already launched an Erasmus project to finance the exchange of experiences and the refinement of the concept. Turisfera is intended to be a project carried out in a public-private partnership where the public sector provides the land under concession for several years, and the private side provides the financing and operation. Both parties participate in a common Board for decisions.
