Tourism investment masterplan to be ready by July 1st

The tourism investment masterplan will be ready on July 1st, and so far over 1,000 projects have been submitted by county councils, city halls, and Administrative Territorial Units, Tourism Minister Mircea Titus Dobre stated on Wednesday at the National Hospitality Industry Conference.
“These projects will be mapped, placed on the map of Romania, and legislated through a Government Decision, so that we too, for the first time in Romania’s history, have a tourism investment masterplan,” Minister Dobre stated.
According to the minister, to bring more foreign tourists to Romania it is necessary to organize visits paid for with public funds for foreign journalists and bloggers and for travel agencies from outside the country.
