THR Marea Neagră Plans to Sell Hotels and Land in Three Seaside Resorts

The investment fund Transilvania Investments Alliance, stock symbol TRANSI, which holds 78.8% of the share capital of the company Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagră, EFO, has requested the addition to the agenda of the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of THR of the sale of two hotels and two plots of land on the Romanian seaside, which are worth a combined 15 million EUR.

Transilvania Investments thus targets the sale of the Măgura hotel in Eforie Sud for 3 million EUR and the sale of the Vraja Mării complex in Eforie Nord for 2 million EUR. In the Saturn resort, the company plans to sell two plots of land: one with an area of 21,366 sqm, worth 2.5 million EUR, and another of 76,395 sqm, valued at 7.5 million.

Also on the agenda of this month’s EGMS is the approval of contracting a short/medium-term loan to cover temporary liquidity needs, worth a maximum of 5 million EUR or the equivalent in RON.

EFO shares have increased by 58% in the last 12 months, on a turnover of 2.4 million RON. The company displays a capitalization of 231.55 million RON.
