On January 14, the Austrian group A-Heat will open a wellness, relaxation, and entertainment center based on thermal waters in Balotesti, near Bucharest. The developers claim it is the largest project of its kind in Europe, representing an investment of 50 million EUR.
The complex is divided into three distinct zones: The Palm (Relaxation Zone) – ideal for relaxing in the largest palm garden, with jacuzzis and aromatherapy pools; Elysium (Pampering Zone) – featuring a variety of themed saunas and a panoramic selenium pool; and Galaxy – specifically designed for families, a zone with slides and a wave pool.
For The Palm zone, daily rates range from 50 RON for students and seniors to 64 RON for adults. Children under 3 have free access. For 3.5 hours of full relaxation, students and seniors will pay 35 RON, while adults will pay 49 RON.
For the Elysium zone, rates range between 68 and 87 RON, depending on the hours spent at Therme Bucharest.
In Galaxy, the family-dedicated zone, for 3.5 hours, children under 3 enjoy free entry, while adults pay a full price of 39 RON. For a full day, rates range between 40 and 54 RON.

The center, with a surface area of 30,000 sqm, will be open 12 months a year and can accommodate over 4,000 clients simultaneously.
The pools will be supplied exclusively with thermal water brought from a depth of 3,100 m, the deepest drilling performed in Romania since 1989. The water temperature in the pools will be 33 degrees Celsius, and the air temperature will be between 29 and 30 degrees Celsius.
A-Heat will finance the investment, and the center will be operated by the Wund Group.
