Businessman Ioan Popa has invested 15 million EUR in the golf resort located in Teleac, Alba County.
Theodora Golf Club includes, besides the largest golf course in Romania – covering an area of 56 hectares, a series of accommodation and relaxation facilities. 
The resort opened its doors on October 15 only for the accommodation facilities, with the golf course, which is the largest in Romania with an area of 56 hectares, set to open to players next spring.
A premiere is represented by the fact that the golf course will have the longest hole in Europe – PAR 6, measuring 735 m.
The construction of the complex took 2 years and includes a complex of 14 villas with 82 double rooms at a 4-star plus standard, as well as 5 private villas, 1 conference room with 70 seats, 1 outdoor pool, the club’s administrative building which incorporates an indoor driving range, pro-shop, locker rooms, lounge bar, and a restaurant with 160 seats indoors plus 100 on the terrace.
