Businessman Josef Goschy stated that the Movileanu family is currently seeking financing to purchase the Amfiteatru-Panoramic-Belvedere complex in Olimp, after which the transaction will be signed. Asked if the acquisition price of EUR 15 million is real, Goschy said he did not wish to comment.

The Movileanu family from Mioveni acquired two hotels and 28 villas from THR Marea Neagra that had not been operational for a long time, for which they paid approximately EUR 4 million. The hotels underwent a modernization process estimated at EUR 12 million, resulting in the opening of the Mera complex in Venus, with 1,200 beds.
Goschy recently stated that he reached an agreement with the owners of Mera Resort in Venus, who want to buy the Onix and Safir hotels in Cap Aurora, which have been for sale for many years. The only thing both parties were waiting for was the approval of Piraeus, the bank from which Goschy borrowed and pledged, among other things, the two hotels on the southern coast.
The complex is classified at 2 stars and has 343 double rooms and apartments, and rumors in the tourism market suggest that Goschy has struck a deal with Mera for slightly more than EUR 2 million.
The businessman confirmed that the transaction is almost finalized but did not specify the sale amount.
If they buy the five hotels from Goschy, which total over 1,000 beds, the Movileanu family will enter the top three investors on the coast, alongside Mohammad Murad and Nicolae Bucovala.
