On March 8, at the opening of the world’s largest tourism trade fair, ITB Berlin, the Ministry of Tourism officially launched the "Explore RO" application, through which users can discover Romania and its resources.
The application represents an electronic tourist guide of Romania, whose content is signed by the Ministry of Tourism and offers its users information about tourist destinations, natural resources, attractions, and events in Romania.
"Explore RO" is already available for iOS and Android platforms and is provided for free by the Sibiu-based company Eventya, with which a partnership agreement was concluded in December 2016.
Germany is the first country where "Explore RO" will be promoted, but France, Israel, and the Scandinavian countries are also targeted.
The application will be permanently updated, with versions in other international languages being developed in the coming period.
