The City Hall of Tășnad (Satu Mare County) will resume the procurement procedure for financing services intended for the “Aquapark Transilvania Terme Tășnad” project, an investment estimated at EUR 26.34 million, excluding VAT. The local mayor, Adrian Dănuț Farcău, told Profit.ro that the authorities will allow more time for submitting bids in the new procedure.
The budget of the procedure for financing services is estimated at EUR 14.95 million. The contract has a duration of at least 180 months, with a utilization period of 48 months from the first drawdown and a grace period of 48 months during which only interest will be paid.
For the execution of the works, the project has already received six bids in October 2025, according to Profit.ro. The companies that submitted bids are associations led by Proiect Invest, Construcții Bihor, Construcții Erbașu, MBS Group, Kesz Construcții România, and Dimex-2000 Company. The financing of the entire objective, with a completion timeframe of 3 years, will be secured from European funds and the local city hall budget.
The future leisure complex will span an area of over two hectares. The main building (basement, ground floor, and first floor) will have a total built area of 16,884.70 sqm and will host seven indoor pools and one outdoor pool, with sizes ranging between 45 sqm and 400 sqm, as well as five jacuzzis on the first floor. The project also includes a secondary building for waste storage of 123.70 sqm, an outdoor courtyard with a 267.98 sqm pool, parking lots, and pedestrian walkways.
