Between February 25 and 28, the spring edition of the Romanian Tourism Fair took place at Romexpo, featuring over 280 participants from 15 countries – Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Egypt, Greece, Israel, Italy, Moldova, Palestine, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, and Hungary. Additionally, the fair brought together 281 companies participating as exhibitors and co-exhibitors.
During the fair, the county councils of Alba, Braila, Buzau, Cluj, Dambovita, Harghita, Hunedoara, Iasi, Maramures, Mehedinti, Neamt, and Satu-Mare promoted their tourism offers.
The Romanian Tourism Fair is organized and hosted by Romexpo biannually, in spring and autumn, with the support of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Romania, the National Association of Travel Agencies in Romania (ANAT) as a strategic partner, the Organization of Spa Tourism Employers in Romania (OPTBR), the Federation of Romanian Tourism Employers (FPTR), and the National Association of Rural, Ecological, and Cultural Tourism (ANTREC).
