The city of Sibiu has been nominated, for the second consecutive year, on the list of the top 20 European tourist destinations by the European Best Destinations Association, with the competition to determine the ranking taking place between January 20 and February 10.
The ranking will be determined based on the votes received by each participating city; Sibiu can be voted for on the website www.vote.ebdest.in.
The Mayor of Sibiu, Astrid Fodor, pointed out that the presentation of the city on the European Best Destinations website highlighted the historic center, outdoor leisure activities, the region’s gastronomy, and hiking in the area.
