In the spring of 2018, the second hotel under the Radisson Blu brand in Romania will open in Brasov, following a 10 million EUR investment.
Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, which owns the brand, and Tresor Com, a company controlled by the Neamtu family from Brasov, signed the franchise agreement for the new hotel on November 2nd.
The Radisson Blu Brasov hotel will be located in the historic center area, opposite the city hall, and will most likely be classified as 5 stars, although the classification will only be known once the hotel is completed.
The unit will have 105 rooms, restaurants, conference spaces, a bar, and a SPA & fitness center.
In 2015, Tresor Com purchased a building located in the center of Brasov from the operator Telekom Romania with the aim of developing a hotel.
Currently, there is no hotel affiliated with a prestigious international chain in Brasov, and only one hotel unit has more than 100 rooms.
In Romania, the Carlson Rezidor Group operates the Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson hotels in Bucharest.
