Seaside Bookings Increase by 1.6% Compared to 2022

The National Association of Travel Agencies in Romania (ANAT) has announced that, compared to 2022, there is a 1.6% increase in the number of classified accommodation units on the seaside.

Thus, those arriving this year at local seaside resorts have 3,007 accommodation units to choose from, depending on comfort, facilities, budget, etc. This figure includes hotels, apartments, villas, and other structures, totaling 135,911 accommodation spots. Of these, nearly 97,000 are in 3, 4, or 5-star hotels in both the Mamaia resort and the southern coastline.

“In fact, the most sought-after resorts by those who have already made reservations for the current summer season are Mamaia, Eforie Nord, Venus, Jupiter, while a notable increase in interest was observed regarding the Olimp resort. Additionally, a surprise of the 2023 summer season is the Eforie Sud resort, where the local and county public administration has implemented a series of investments, both in modernizing the promenade and widening the beaches,” stated ANAT representatives.
