According to FPTR calculations, the average expenditure for accommodation and included meals was approximately 350 RON/stay, a 5% increase compared to last year. Additional expenses, including travel and entertainment, averaged 300 RON/stay per tourist.
Data centralized by FPTR shows that more than 88,000 Romanians went on domestic vacations during this period, most of them visiting major cities and mountain resorts.
The occupancy rate in mountain resorts in the Prahova Valley and Poiana Brasov was 80-90% during these days, with over 20,000 tourists choosing mountain destinations.
