Romania participated in the New York Travel Fair
The Travel and Adventure Show New York took place between March 19-20 this year and cost Romania $8,000.
Our country’s representation was not done under professional conditions, the stand being decorated with photos printed on a printer with images from our country, titled “Romania, Explore The Carpathian Garden”. These were placed on a black background.
The organizer offered exhibitors a standard display offer, and the stand could have been set up using digital technology.
It should be noted that, except for Romania and Croatia, there was no other participating country from Eastern Europe.
The main consequence after this failure was the suspension of our country’s participation in the rest of the tourism fair events in 2022. This decision was taken by the Minister of Tourism, Daniel Cadariu.
Romania has not been present at any international exhibition event in the last 2 years.
