Restoration of Săvârșin Royal Castle Completed

The restoration works of the Săvârșin Royal Castle have been completed. These lasted from May 2007 until October 2015 and were carried out according to an initial plan created by the Royal House architect, Șerban Sturdza. Subsequently, architect Eugen Pănescu and architect Emilian Cordoș contributed to the works, and university professor architect Augustin Ioan provided consultancy. 
Built heritage specialist David Baxter collaborated with the Royal Family throughout these eight years.
The main construction companies that worked on the castle were Pro Restauratio from Cluj and, in 2015, ICCO Brașov. At the same time, Remus Beleiu and his company of wood artists, MobilArt from Arad, collaborated on this project.
