Christian Tour to operate domestic transport services starting this year
By the end of this year, the tour operator Christian Tour will enter the domestic transport market, operating between the country’s main cities, with fares ranging between 1 and 9.9 EUR/trip, including checked luggage. The services will be launched under the Memento Bus brand, following an investment of 4 million EUR.
The routes the tour operator will operate on are:
– Bucharest-Brasov-Sibiu-Deva-Arad, with the Sibiu-Cluj Napoca extension and the Arad-Timisoara extension,
– Bucharest-Ploiesti-Brasov-Targu Mures-Cluj Napoca,
– Bucharest-Buzau-Focsani-Bacau-Iasi with the Bacau-Piatra Neamt-Suceava extension and the Buzau-Braila-Galati extension
– Constanta-Bucharest
Christian Tour’s Memento Bus coaches will also have international routes, namely Bucharest-Budapest, Bucharest-Bansko and Bucharest-Zell am See-Kaprun-Kitzbuhel (Austria), the latter costing 129 EUR/person per way, including checked luggage and ski equipment.
The owners of the tourism company will open Christian Tour agencies in Poland, Hungary and Serbia next year and plan to enter the UK market.
